Paddington is a tourist area in Central London and it is full of things to do. In this location, you have all best of London at your fingertips!

But we would like to give you some ideas of what you can do in this area during your next holiday in London.

We suggest doing a visit of the famous homonym station that it was recently refurbished. At platform 1, you will have a selfie with the well-known children's book character Paddington Bear, start of a recent movie (there is a bronze statue).

After this visit, we suggest continuing your walk up to Paddington Basin and taking a break drinking and eating in one of the many restaurants along the canal. In particular, we suggest you to visit the Rolling Bridge, a type of curling movable bridge. It offers a magic of its own at midday every Friday.

From here you can start an original walk that it is not well know by tourists. Indeed, if you continue to walk through Regent's Canal, you can reach Camden Town. Or, you can visit the picturesque area of Little Venice. Or if you love to have the wind in your sails, you can book a canal and river cruise day tour.

Paddington is few minutes far from Hyde Park, one of the best park of London. Inside the park, you can visit the Serpentine Gallery, the Serpentine Lake and reach easily the monumental Albert Memorial and the Royal Albert Hall.

For art-lovers, a visit of Wallace Collection is must do. The Wallace Collection is a national museum in a historic London town house. In 25 galleries are unsurpassed displays of French 18th-century painting, furniture and porcelain with superb Old Master paintings and a world class armoury.

For shopping lovers, we highly recommended a few hours of full immersion inside the shopping center Whiteleys.

Don't miss Portobello Road Market, the world’s largest antiques market with over 1,000 dealers selling every kind of antique and collectible, and Notting Hill.
