Zone 1 - Lancaster Gate, London

Lancaster Gate is a development in the Bayswater district of central London, immediately to the north of Kensington Gardens.

It consists of two long terraces of houses overlooking the park, with a wide gap between them opening onto a square containing a church. Further terraces back onto the pair overlooking the park and loop around the square. The development takes its name from Lancaster Gate, a nearby entrance to Kensington Gardens, itself named in honour of Queen Victoria as Duke of Lancaster. The terraces are stuccoed and are in an eclectic classical style featuring English Baroque details and French touches.

This area is close to Bayswater, Queensway and Paddington and only a few minutes by walk from Hyde Park and Marble Arch. We suggest this area to tourists that love to visit the city by walk. Indeed, from our apartments most of tourist spots can be reached in few minutes.

Lancaster Gate is full of shops, restaurants and pubs. The closest Tube Station is Lancaster Gate, but there are others stations nearby. For example, Paddington Station is very close and it's directly connected with Heathrow via Heathrow Express train.
